The House of Lords considered schedule 13 and clauses 20 to 22 of the Bill. Schedule 13 was agreed to, as amended. Clauses 20 to 22 were agreed to. A new clause, entitled "Transfer of immigration or nationality judicial review applications", was added to the Bill after clause 19.

The House of Commons considered amendments to clauses 2, 12, 18, 33 and schedules 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 22 of the Bill. New Clauses 2, 3, 7, 17, 18 and new schedules 1 and 2 were also considered. New Clauses 2 and 17 were not called. New clause 3 was agreed to on division. New clause 7 was negatived on division and new clause 18 was withdrawn. New schedules 1 and 2 were agreed to.

The House of Commons considered amendments to clauses 20-21, 24-25, 28, 35-40, 43-46 and schedules 19-20 of the Bill. New clauses 1, 4, 5, 10, 12-16, 19-20, 28-33 and new schedules 3-7 were also considered. New clauses 4-6, 15, 16, 29, 30 and new schedule 5 were agreed to. New clauses 19, 20, 31-33 and schedules 3-4a and 6-7 were not selected. New clauses 1, 9, 10, 12-14 were not called. New clause 28 was not moved. The Bill was passed to the third reading stage.
