The Bill was introduced to Parliament on 28 February 2012 and will pass through Parliament without debate or amendment.
It is part of the supply procedure, by which Parliament grants the government's request for resources by allowing continued access to the consolidated fund.
The Bill will
- authorise the use of resources for the years ending with 31 March 2012 and 31 March 2013
- authorise the issue of sums out of the consolidated fund for those years and for the year ending with 31 March 2011
- appropriate the supply authorised by the eventual Act for the years ending with 31 March 2011 and 31 March 2012
